Mike Pressler, the former Duke lacrosse coach, has been named head coach of the U.S. men's team for the 2010 world championships.
Pressler, now the coach at Bryant University, was forced to resign from his Duke position in April 2006 shortly after an escort service dancer accused players of gang-raping her — allegations that turned out to be false.
Pressler eventually reached a confidential settlement with Duke but has pursued slander and libel claims in court.
