* Store nostalgic items in a separate place with other memorabilia. Don't let it take up prime real estate in your closet.
* Take old clothes to a charity thrift shop or make money by taking clothes to a consignment shop or an eBay service.
* Get an accurate value on your donations by using computer software such as It's Deductible.
