Baltimore Orioles second baseman Brian Roberts recalls how he was injured Sept. 20 in the collision with the New York Yankees' Bubba Crosby:

"Bubba Crosby laid down a bunt. I covered first. B.J. [Surhoff] fielded the ball, ... then threw. The ball tailed inside the first-base line. I reached out to grab it. As I was reaching out, Crosby hit hard. I was grabbing my arm and trying to hold onto [the ball]. It was scary."
