Police ID body found in Crabtree Creek

RALEIGH - Police have identified a man whose body was found Wednesday afternoon in Crabtree Creek as Homero Zuluga-Patricio, 26, of Raleigh. Police are treating the death as a homicide.

Someone walking along a greenway shortly after noon noticed the body in the creek near Crabtree Valley Mall. The Raleigh Fire Department's water rescue unit recovered the body.

Police have asked that anyone who might be able to assist the investigation call the Detective Division at 890-3555.
