Vigil honors victims of murder in 2005

Vigils Against Violence will hold its annual end-of-year vigil at 4 p.m. Sunday in the Siler Garden of Pullen Memorial Baptist Church.

The service of comfort and remembrance recognizes Raleigh murder victims of 2005 and invites their friends and families to attend and participate. Clergy leaders will be Pastor David Amidon of St. Philip Lutheran Church and Rachel Smith, chaplain for Vigils Against Violence.

The church is at 1801 Hillsborough St., and the rain location will be inside its chapel. For more information contact Bonnie Stone at 834-9355.
