WHAT: Grand Centennial Birthday Celebration at the New Hope Valley Railway
WHEN: Sunday. Trains leave at 11 a.m., 12:15 p.m., 1:30 p.m., 2:45 p.m. and 4 p.m., traveling over four miles of track in Chatham and Wake counties. The 1:30 p.m. from the Bonsal Depot has been designated as the official First Ride train.
COST: $8 for adults, $6 for children 12 and younger.
WHERE: Tickets are available at the Bonsal Depot ticket office, off old U.S. 1 in Bonsal.
