RALEIGH -- Wake County's Child Support Enforcement office will be closed the rest of the week and Monday as it relocates from the Wake County Courthouse to the adjacent Waverly F. Akins Wake County Office Building, 336 Fayetteville St.
Child Support Enforcement has been on the eighth floor of the courthouse and will move to the eighth floor of the Akins Building, Suite 800.
Any clients scheduled to be in court Monday regarding child support issues must still attend court that day, and the Wake County CSE office will be able to work with them. All other public inquiries will be addressed once the office completes its move and reopens Tuesday.
During the move, the office's computers and telephones will not be running. The N.C. Child Support Enforcement Call Center at (800) 992-9457 will field calls for Wake County during the three-day closure. Once the move is completed, Wake County CSE will reopen Tuesday in its new location.
To reach the office by mail or phone (as of Tuesday), send inquiries to Wake County Child Support Enforcement, P.O. Box 550, Raleigh, 27602 or call 856-6630.
