CHAPEL HILL -- Chapel Hill Comics, in conjunction with Lulu.com, is holding 24 Hour Comics Day today.
At events all over the world, cartoonists will attempt to each create a 24-page comic within 24 hours. Comic creation will begin at 10:30 a.m. and continue into Sunday morning.
"I'm very excited," said Andrew Neal, owner of Chapel Hill Comics. "We have lots of great artists in the area, and I can't wait to see what the 24-hour deadline and lack of sleep will inspire!"
The event is co-sponsored by Lulu.com, a Morrisville technology company that specializes in tools for self-publishers and digital do-it-yourselfers.
Chapel Hill Comics (formerly known as Second Foundation Bookstore) is at 412 W. Franklin St. in Chapel Hill.
