Calling all moms and daughters

The CW network will hold a nationwide casting call March 3 in Raleigh for its new reality series "Crowned."

The eight-episode series will focus on the relationships of mother-daughter teams as they compete in a beauty pageant. The series is created and produced by Laurie Girion, the producer of "Last Comic Standing 2" and "Cheerleader Nation."

Auditioners should arrive at Peace College, 15 E. Peace St., by 9 a.m. to receive a wristband. Interviews begin at 10 a.m.

Each teammate must bring a filled-out application and proof of eligibility to live and work in the United States. Applications can be downloaded at Raleighcw.com. Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
