Donations sought for Easter project

CHAPEL HILL -- Source Force, a local nonprofit group serving people with HIV/AIDS and cancer living at or below the poverty line, is collecting items for its annual Easter basket project.

Items needed for the basket include towels, washcloths, toothbrushes, toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner, white socks, bar soap, deodorant, lotion, toilet tissue, razors, shaving cream, note pads, pens, pencils, stuffed animals, personal gifts for men and women, and toys and school supplies for children. The group also needs food, including canned food, dry pasta, cereals, soups, crackers, cookies, candy, juice boxes, canned soda and hot chocolate packets.
