North Raleigh apartment complexes have reported a rash of thefts from coin-operated laundry machines in the past three months.

Raleigh Police say 26 reports of burglarized laundry machines came in from Dec. 6 to Feb. 28.

Twenty two of the instances occurred in North Raleigh, with 17 above the Beltline between Glenwood Avenue and Louisburg Rodd, police say.

In one case, on-site surveillance cameras captured images of three suspects.

Police urge anyone with information that might assist the investigation to call 919-890-3555.
