The market in Siler City
We missed one farmers market on our list last week: The Siler City Farmers Market meets from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays at 118 W. Second St. in downtown Siler City. We also misstated one market's location: On Wednesdays, the Hillsborough Farmers Market meets from 4 to 7 p.m. in the parking lot at 241 S. Churton St. just south of the new Cardinal State Bank; and on Saturdays from 8 a.m. to noon at 128 N. Churton St. in the Sun Trust parking lot. 732-8315, www.hillsboroughfarmersmarket.org.
Chatham County extension agent Debbie Roos' Web site has an excellent of farmers markets: http://chatham.ces.ncsu.edu/growingsmallfarms/otherareamarkets.html
