Free burritos for lucky few at Moe's

Moe's Southwest Grill at the Arboretum shopping center in Cary will be giving away free burritos for a year to the first 50 customers Saturday. The location at 127 Weston Parkway opens at 11 a.m., so get there early.

This is Moe's way of celebrating selling a million burritos at that location. (That's a lot of guacamole.)

Zely & Ritz's Latin feast

Raleigh's Zely & Ritz is hosting a Spanish and Portuguese wine dinner 7 p.m. Nov. 19. The five-course meal includes rabbit and sausage paella and chocolate cake with mixed berry ice cream and costs $75, plus tax and tip.

Greek wine dinner at Xios

Xios, a Greek restaurant in Apex, is offering a fall wine dinner 5:30 p.m. Nov. 23.

The four-course meal with appetizers includes moussaka (sliced eggplant and ground lamb dish), yemistes (seasonal vegetables stuffed with cheeses and herbs), lamb stifado (a lamb stew with a tomato sauce), and a creme brulee with roasted hazelnuts, which doesn't require any translation.

Tickets cost $55, plus tax and tip. To order, call 363-5288.

No-meat Thanksgiving

The Triangle Vegetarian Society is celebrating its 10th vegan Thanksgiving feast at Cafe Parizade in Durham. Seatings run from noon-2:30 p.m. Tickets cost $23 for current TVS members, $26.50 for other adults, $7 for children 5 to 10; children younger than 5 eat free. Six Plates celebrates
