We Loved Linda Pie

Nancy Walker House of Knightdale writes:

About 38 years ago, a group of women from many different places and backgrounds decided to form a bridge club. At that time, Omar Sharif was quite the heartthrob and also well-known as a bridge expert. Thus, "The Omar Sharif Bridge Club" was born. Unfortunately, we have lost three of our members to cancer. The first one to die was Linda Ange at the age of 41. This is her pie recipe.

I have probably made 600 to 700 of these pies. They are always well received and very easy to make. One of the great things about these pies is they can be made in advance and freeze wonderfully.
