    Clayton continutes its tennis win streak, tops Garner

    Clayton downed Garner 9-0 on Monday to improve to 3-0 on the season — all 9-0 sweeps of league opponents. The Comets’ victories over Harnett Central and Knightdale in the season’s opening week featured a combined games won score of 192-1 in Clayton’s favor.

    Athens Drive tops Cleveland for early-season title

    The Jaguars had little trouble defending a title they had won last season under Jennifer Reeder, topping Cleveland 25-21, 25-18, 25-17 Saturday to win Garner’s Trojan Volleyball Tournament.
