TRACEY IN CONTROL: Sean Tracey pitched a six-hit shutout, and the Charlotte Knights piled up 12 hits to roll past the Durham Bulls on Tuesday night at Durham Bulls Athletic Park.

Tracey (6-3) walked one and struck out eight. Ernie Young went 3-for-3 with a run scored to lead four Knights with multi-hit efforts.

Bulls outfielder Delmon Young, who returned from a 50-game suspension on Monday, went 2-for-3 with a walk to raise his batting average to .345. Kevin Cash also went 2-for-3.

Jason Hammel (3-6) took the loss for the Bulls, allowing five runs (four earned) in 4 1/3 innings on nine hits.
