Pop Warner team wins championship

Raleigh's Capital City Steelers defeated the St. Philip Saints (Texas) 21-0 to win the Division II Junior Pee Wee football national championship today at the Pop Warner Super Bowl in Lake Buena Vista, Fla.

The Wake Forest Titans lost to the Hunterdon Huskies (N.J.) 23-0 in the Pee Wee division.

Area teams were also competing in the cheerleading and dance team events.
