Rex tops Raleigh startup’s rankings of NC hospitals

Rex Hospital in Raleigh received the top score in new patient satisfaction rankings released this week by a Raleigh startup.
Axial Exchange’s Patient Engagement Index is designed to measure the quality of the interactions and care patients have with individual hospitals.
The index rates hospitals in three categories: personal health management, which includes electronic access to patient health records; patient satisfaction, which is based on public patient satisfaction data from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid; and social media engagement.
