Police are looking for a man who stole a bank deposit bag from a Perkins Family Restaurant employee Monday.
At 11 a.m., an employee left the restaurant at 2657 Appliance Court to deposit funds from the business at the bank, according to a Raleigh Police Department news release. Before she could get to her car, a man came up to her and snatched the bank deposit bag and her purse.
The robber fled to a waiting late-'80s or early-'90s Chevrolet Caprice that had another person behind the wheel.
The man was in his 20s, stood at 5 feet, 8 inches and had a thin build, according to the news release. He also had a goatee and wore a light brown sweater, black pants and a light brown beanie hat.
Anyone with information is asked to call Raleigh detectives at 890-3555.
