Dog walk delayed until Nov. 5

From Staff ReportsSeptember 10, 2005

A dog walk today at Historic Oak View Park has been postponed.

The annual festival, sponsored by Wake County Animal Care, Control and Adoption Center, will not be held today because county staffers are helping pets that belong to Hurricane Katrina evacuees.

It has been rescheduled for Nov. 5.

The dog walk will still include the same activities, including Frisbee and Flyball, along with clinics on rabies and microchipping.

Registration fees that have already been paid will be carried forward. For a refund, call 212-7387.
