Couple accused of making meth

A couple was charged Tuesday with making methamphetamine in a storage shed behind their home.

The Wake County Sheriff's Office filed charges against Bobby Dale Carter, 31, and his wife Tracy Raper Carter, 20, both of 6440 Falconwood Drive in Wendell.

Deputies discovered what they believe to be a meth lab on Sunday when they responded to a disturbance at the house.

Both are being held at the Wake County jail in lieu of $90,000 bail. Bobby Carter faces an additional count of felonious domestic assault.
