Gang awareness workshop planned

A gang awareness workshop will be held Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., at the J.M.I. Non-Denominational Worship Center, 1100 Eagle Rock Road, Wendell.

During the workshop -- titled "It's Your Choice!" -- participants will learn more about what gangs are, protecting children from gangs and strengthening the community.

The seminar is sponsored by Wake County Human Services, in partnership with Judd Ministries, Inc., Wake County 4-H Youth Development and Protect Us Consulting, Inc.
