Police arrest bank robbery suspect

Police arrested a man Tuesday and charged him with carrying out a bank robbery last week.

Carlos Armando Juarez-Sanchez, 28, of 4209 Brockton Road, was charged with armed robbery by the Raleigh Police Department.

Police think Juarez-Sanchez, wielding a knife, demanded money Dec. 6 from a teller at Fidelity Bank, 2801 E. Millbrook Road.

Juarez-Sanchez was identified as a suspect and arrested by the Raleigh Police Department's fugitive squad during a traffic stop Tuesday, said Jim Sughrue, department spokesman.
