Hillsborough tables library discussion

From Staff ReportsJanuary 10, 2006

Discussion of a free-standing library in Hillsborough was tabled by the Town Board at a meeting Monday.

The board was considering a response to a resolution adopted by the Orange County Board of Commissioners asking the town to partner with the county 50-50 financially to establish such a library.

Members of the Town Board said they wanted more information from the county before a meeting with the commissioners scheduled for February.
