From Staff ReportsMarch 15, 2006

Cobb is charged with exposing himself four times.

Police say a convicted sex offender has been going to coin-operated laundries and exposing himself to women.

Rodney Elroy Cobb, 46, of 3650 Durwood Lane, was arrested Tuesday and charged with four counts of indecent exposure in incidents that took place during morning hours from March to December 2005.

The incidents occurred at The Cleaners laundries in the 3200 block of Avent Ferry Road and at 2816 Trawick Road, as well as at Glam-O-Rama Dry Cleaners and Coin Laundry at 1601 Crosslink Road, according to arrest warrants.

Cobb was convicted of indecent exposure in 1998 and 2002, according to court records.

Police are going over their files to see whether Cobb matches suspect descriptions in other indecent exposure cases, said Jim Sughrue, police spokesman. Anyone with information is asked to call detectives at 890-3555.
