Man injured trying to board train

A 29-year-old man was injured when he tried to pull himself onto a moving train about 11:30 a.m. Monday, according to officials.

The accident occurred on railroad tracks that cross the 600 block of West Hargett Street near South Boylan Avenue, according to Raleigh police.

Corey Tennell Mooring was transported to WakeMed Raleigh campus for treatment of his injuries, which were considered non-life threatening, according to police.
