Dance festival is AIDS benefit

The inaugural Triangle Dance Festival for AIDS will be held at 8 p.m. tonight in Memorial Hall, on Cameron Avenue at UNC-Chapel Hill.

Hosted by Chuck Davis, the evening will feature Even Exchange Dance Theater, the Duke African Dance Ensemble, Choreo Collective, Project Mastana World Music, Language Arts hip hop duo with bboys, and leading local modern choreographers.

Tickets are $10 for students and seniors, $15 for general admission and $5 for children. Tickets can be purchased at the door or in advance by calling Memorial Hall at 843-3333. Proceeds go to to the N.C. Alliance for AIDS services and to AIDS clinics in slums of Nairobi, Kenya and Bangalore, India.
