Raleigh man held in shooting

— A Raleigh man was arrested Saturday, accused of shooting another man in the hand with a 12-gauge shotgun.

Joseph Adam Johnson, 23, of 2040 Bethlehem Road was charged with assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury after he allegedly shot Joshua Johnson in the left hand, according to arrest warrants.

Joseph Johnson was being held in the Wake County jail Sunday in lieu of $30,000 bail. He is scheduled to appear in Wake County District Court today.
