New library set to open in Cary

— West Regional Library, 4000 Louis Stephens Drive, will open Sept. 16.

To celebrate the occasion, the library will host events and performances from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The celebration will start with music from the Cary Town Band and the official ribbon-cutting ceremony with county, town and library officials.

Located near the intersection of N.C. 55 and Morrisville Carpenter Road, the 30,000-square-foot facility will be the second-largest in the county. West Regional Library will serve the Cary, Morrisville and Apex communities.
