Two Durham men arrested in shooting

— Two men have been arrested in the shooting of another man in the torso.

Willie Lee Collins, 20, of Davidson Avenue and Benjamin Paul Robbins, 24, of Cammie Street, are accused of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury and robbery with a dangerous weapon.

Both are being held in lieu of $200,000 bail.

A 34-year-old man was standing in a parking lot at the 1600 block of Forest Road on Aug. 25 when a man approached and demanded money, police said.

The man refused and was shot. The shooter fled in a minivan driven by another suspect. It's not clear who was the driver and who was the shooter.
