Robbers get $8,400 from Durham bank

Four armed robbers got away with $8,400 from a Bank of America on Thursday morning. Police have arrested one suspect.

About 9:20 a.m., the men entered the bank at 3200 Shannon Road wearing black bandannas over their faces. No shots were fired, and no one was injured.

Corey Lashawn Edwards, 27, of 10-D Ridgeway St. in Durham was arrested Thursday afternoon and charged with armed robbery. He was being held in the Durham County jail.
