Police deliver, then seize drugs

— Police made a special 8-pound delivery Friday, and it wasn't a baby. An officer dressed as a UPS courier to deliver 8 pounds of marijuana after the contraband was intercepted, according to a search warrant.

Police said they unwrapped the package of marijuana, which was shipped to Sean Wells at 1005 Gunston Lane.

Then they wrapped it back up, put on some brown and got permission to deliver the package and then search the house, according to the warrant.

Police seized another 57.6 grams of marijuana and 14.9 grams of cocaine, scales and two cans of WD-40 with fake bottoms, the search warrants says.

No charges had been filed in the case Saturday evening.
