Planners to show streetscaping plans

— Raleigh's Planning Department will host an open house to show residents the plans for a streetscaping project in Southeast Raleigh.

The open house will be at 6 p.m. Thursday at the Chavis Heights Community Center, 505 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.

The targeted areas include parts of Cross Link Road, Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, Poole Road and parts of U.S. 64. The plans include adding trees and signs marking the city limits.
