Suspect in shooting is released on bond

— A man charged in the 1999 shooting death of a 63-year-old man was released from jail Thursday after posting $50,000 bond.

Daniel Shawn Fraley, who was charged with murder and accessory after the fact in December, had no bail prior to March 9, court documents said. Fraley, of 1009 Edith St., was 29 at the time of his arrest.

He is accused in the murder of Charles Johnson, who was shot once in the head Feb. 2, 1999, in his living room at 1000 Virgie St.
