RALEIGH — A Wake Forest woman pleaded guilty this month to the stabbing death of a 46-year-old woman.
Kimberly Claire Johnson, 28, plead guilty to second-degree murder May 4 in the death of Cynthia Joan Edwards.
Edwards was found stabbed to death Oct. 6 in her duplex at 114 Seawell Ave. near Raleigh's historic Oakwood neighborhood.
Johnson told police she killed Edwards for drugs and money.
Johnson will spend the next 20 to 25 years in state prison, after being convicted of both murder and robbery.
