Shots through wall, window wound teen

From Staff ReportsMay 24, 2007

— A 18-year-old girl was shot in the left arm Tuesday evening. Police believe the shooting may have been related to an ongoing argument that the girl may not have been involved in.

Domanik Medley was cooking inside an apartment at 1835 Cheek Road when three bullets entered the home -- two through a window and a third through a back wall, police spokeswoman Kammie Michael said. Three other adults and a child were also in the apartment but were not hit. Medley was taken to Duke University Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. No arrests have been made.
