Pizza Hut reopens after mice found

June 8, 2007

A Raleigh restaurant reopened Thursday after being closed Tuesday by a Wake County health inspector.

The Pizza Hut at 3691 New Bern Ave. closed after an inspector found six live mice.

"It seemed to be a severe infestation," said Frances Breedlove, Wake's food safety section chief.

On Wednesday, inspectors re-evaluated the restaurant.
