Post office finds missing water bills

— The U.S. Postal Service has found Town of Hillsborough water and sewer bills that were missing for about a week.

Carl A. Walton, communications coordinator for the Greensboro district, said the bills were found Monday and would be delivered Tuesday to Hillsborough water and sewer customers.

Any customers who do not receive bills this month should call or come by the Water/Sewer Billing and Collections Office to find out how much is owed.

Payment is due Aug. 25 and may be maid at the office in the Town Hall Annex, 137 N. Churton St., from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. The office will be open until 6 p.m. Aug. 27.

Payments also may be mailed to the Water-Sewer Billing and Collections Office, P.O. Box 429, Hillsborough, N.C. 27278. The office's phone number is 732-2104.
