I had lunch at Seaboard Cafe last week, and I really enjoyed the Dill Pea Pasta Salad. It was so good I tried to make it at home, but mine wasn't as good as theirs. Could you try to get the recipe? --A.L., Four Oaks

Owner Rick Perales has a special fondness for this dish, which he says "my kitchen manager, Mary Farmer, and I put together just playing around trying to do something new." He shares the recipe as a tribute to Farmer, who died in 2002 after working for Seaboard Cafe for 11 years.

Perales also ladles up some soothing relief for the late summertime blues in the form of a popular seasonal soup offering at the Cafe, Chilled White Gazpacho.
