Festival to raise funds for homeless

October 17, 2007 

— Trinity Avenue Presbyterian Church will hold Fall Festival from 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday to raise money for three organizations that help the homeless.

The event will feature a chili dinner, variety show, bake sale and silent auction. Profits will be donated to the Durham Rescue Mission, Housing for New Hope and Habitat for Humanity.

The event, at 927 W. Trinity Ave., is open to the public, and advance tickets are $5. For more information, call Janet Burney, office administrator for the church, at 682-3865.
