Wake set to choose 5 early voting sites

— The Wake County Board of Elections voted Tuesday to conduct one-stop early voting for May's primary election at five sites between April 26 and May 3.

Four sites across Wake County will be chosen for early voting at the board's meeting Tuesday, and they will be opened along with the county's Board of Election office on Salisbury Street in downtown Raleigh.

Hours for early voting at the four countywide sites will be: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. April 26; 1 to 5 p.m. April 27; 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. the following five weekdays; and 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. May 3. The elections office downtown will be open the same weekend hours as the other four sites and during normal office hours on weekdays.
