Man sought after shooting victim dies

— Police are trying to locate Michael Rashad Kee, who was indicted on murder charges Monday in the 1999 shooting of Candace Mitchell.

Mitchell, 16 at the time of the shooting, was severely wounded and died last month of complications stemming from her injuries. The state medical examiner ruled her death to be a homicide.

Kee served six years in prison for the shooting.

Police described Kee, 29, as a black male, 5 feet 11 inches tall and 270 pounds. No other descriptive details were given. His last known address was on Sprucewood Drive.
