Ban on burning outdoors is lifted

March 13, 2008 

— County officials have lifted the countywide burning ban enacted last month in reponse to the drought and risks of forest fires.

As of noon Wednesday, outdoor burning as authorized by the county and ordinances was allowed to resume.
