NCCU master plan to get 2 new airings

From Staff ReportsMarch 18, 2008

— N.C. Central University, which has come under some fire from area residents about its master planning process, has added two public forums on the issue.

The presentations will be from 6 to 8 p.m. March 26 at the James E. Shepard Middle School Auditorium in Durham and from 2 to 4 p.m. April 8 at Eagle Landing on the NCCU campus.

If approved, the plan would call for the university's purchase of at least 136 homes and other properties directly adjacent to campus.
