Police said the attack occurred on Dacian Avenue.

A woman told officers she saw a man in her room when she awoke about 4:40 a.m. The man, who was armed with a knife, sexually assaulted her and took her wallet and jewelry. Investigators think he entered the woman's apartment through a back door.
