— The Foundation for a Sustainable Community and the Chapel Hill-Carrboro Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with Chapel Hill-Carrboro City Schools, will hold a high school job fair Tuesday to help high school students find employment.

The Chapel Hill-Carrboro High School Job Fair gives high school students an opportunity to meet local businesses recruiting for the summer and beyond. At 9:30 a.m., 30 businesses will fill the gym at East Chapel Hill High School to recruit local teenagers for a variety of jobs. The event is sponsored by Blue Cross and Blue Shield North Carolina, the Hillsborough and New Hope Commons Wal-Marts and the PTA Thrift Shop.

The Foundation for a Sustainable Community promotes environmental stewardship, social equity and economic prosperity. For more information, visit www.sustainablecommunity.info.
