Workshops set on downtown plan

— The city of Raleigh will hold two workshops on the Comprehensive Plan's downtown portion on Wednesday and June 11.

At the Wednesday workshop, participants will brainstorm a vision statement for downtown Raleigh in 2030. Then participants will develop a list of ideas, concerns and issues they may have relating to the plan.

At the June 11 workshop, participants will work to develop a downtown action plan.

Both workshops begin at 5:30 p.m. and will take place at the Urban Design Center, 133 Fayetteville St. Residents who wish to attend should contact kristopher.larson@ci.raleigh.nc.us by May 30. Space is limited.
