Additional suspect sought in shooting

— Police are looking for another man in connection with a shooting death late Tuesday night. Mark Anthony Stevons, 18, of 1715 Avondale Drive was charged with murder Thursday in the death of Johnnie Junior Moore. Moore, 51, was shot to death in the 700 block of Liberty Street at 11:50 p.m. Tuesday.

On Wednesday, police charged Don Tray Cole, 33, of Elm Street in the crime. Cole, who was arrested Wednesday, was days from coming off supervised release for a 2005 conviction of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury when the shooting took place, state Department of Correction records state.

Stevons frequents the areas of Liberty Street, Hyde Park Avenue and Juniper Street, police say.
