— The U.S. Marshals Service picked up two brothers in Raleigh Friday who were wanted in South Carolina on charges of robbing a man and setting his van on fire, court records show.

Federal officers charged Jahad Tariem Marshall, 22, and Shallah Allah Marshall, 19, both of Florence, S.C., with one felony count each of being fugitives from justice. The men are wanted in South Carolina on charges of armed robbery, third-degree arson and grand larceny, according to arrest warrants filed Friday at the Wake County Magistrate's Office.

Shallah Allah Marshall also was charged with violating his parole, court records show.

The two men have been sought by the Florence County Sheriff's Department in South Carolina in connection with the Sept. 15 armed robbery of a guest at the Hampton Inn and Suites in Florence, court records show.

Sheriff's deputies have accused the brothers of using a small-caliber revolver to rob the victim of his cell phone, credit cards and about $800 in cash, court records show.

Police think the Marshalls stole the hotel guest's white Dodge minivan after the robbery and used it as a getaway vehicle. Police have accused the duo of burning the van behind a church in Florence, according to court documents.

Both men are being held at the Wake County jail in lieu of $1 million each.
