Five men arrested on drug charges

— Five Raleigh men face cocaine conspiracy charges after their arrests late Saturday in a case involving more than 14 ounces of the drug, according to arrest warrants.

The suspects charged with conspiracy to traffic in cocaine are: Daniel Torres Juarez, 27; Jean-Louis Hilaire, 35; Joan Manuel Nunez, 30; Jorge Delgado, 28; and Jose Rodriguez, 30.

Juarez, charged with conspiring with Delgado to traffic in cocaine by possessing 403.54 grams of the substance, was being held in Wake County jail Sunday in lieu of $100,000 bail. Court documents show that Rodriguez, Nunez and Hilaire were released on $50,000 bond; Delgado was also released on $100,000 bond.

The suspects are scheduled for a 9 a.m. hearing today. Further information about the circumstances of the men's arrest was not available Sunday.
